SELFLESS SERVICE
The Pointe du Hoc Foundation (PDHF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (EIN: 45-1716189) established to recognize and commemorate the special operations warriors of 2d Ranger Battalion. An all volunteer organization formed in 2011, the Foundation partners with government and community leaders, local and national businesses, and friends of the battalion, providing support to Rangers and family members who served honorably in the unit.
The commitment, professionalism, and esprit of Rangers are legendary: 2nd Battalion Rangers “leading the way” up the Pointe du Hoc cliffs at Normandy on D-Day; Ranger Companies crossing the frozen fields of Chipyong-ni, Korea; LRP Rangers wading through the wetlands of Vietnam; nighttime parachute assaults into Grenada and Panama; and spearheading missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Rangers have humbly defended and protected America for decades.

Honor the memory, courage , and selfless sacrifices of 2d Battalion Rangers and their families who have served in the unit from WWII to present.``
“What I’ve seen those affiliated with the Foundation do is…expose the Rangers to an organization that has their interests, whether they’re in uniform or not, at heart. An association that does that is very unique and special. It does not exist in the commercial United States of America. And for them to recognize that they have a partner as they make transitions, in uniform and out, is really, really critical.”
“In a relentless lifestyle defined by taxing goodbyes, decades of deployments, and only a few anniversaries spent together, our Ranger family perseveres. Tomorrow brings uncertainty, but PDHF offers assurance.”
